One more thing to complain about...

So...FML for the Kings of Leon show tomorrow night at the Olympia being SOLD OUT.

At least it's not a Jonas Brothers show.

=)

Enjoying but still complaining....

Alright, so I'm kinda used to the whole idea of living here. Maybe it's cause that time of the month is over. HALLALUJAH.

The cold damp weather is gone (for now), I know where a lot of the things are, I'm not retarted with the Metro, and I've gotten used to speaking a French in public (unlike speaking French in French class when the teacher goes, "you mean this?" or "wow you're imaginative").

The ONE thing I get peeved about is having ALLLL these magazine stands, yet, the only thing you find is magazines with naked girls and newspapers and occasionally kids magazines with (wait for it) FREE CRAYONS! Like ONE stand has teeny mags. How am I supposed to get my JoBros fix that way? Oh well. That's what the Disney Store on Champs Elysees is for I guess. I went there the other day after an hour long meeting with Andi and Dani's new principal (which I strangely had to attend too...) and bought 3 sweet *magic* washcloths for 2 euros each. Now...these are purely for show and I'm definitely not using them because a) it's kinda creepy and b) the ink on them is kinda crap quality and it flakes off really easily. There was also a Camp Rock pillow for 10 euros that my mother might consider buying for meeee =).

So what else is on Champs Elysees? There are a MILLION movie theatres which, for now, I'm grateful for because that means that at LEAST one of them has to be showing the Jonas Brothers 3D movie. Unfortch, there isn't an opening date for France yet...

I think you've had enough of Jonas talk...my bad.

Anyway, the whole family (ok well no more than 3 or 4 of us) is up in our heads about finding an apartment. Who knew it was THIS hard to find an affordable 3 bedroom apartment in Paris? Geez. I mean, they're all very pretty...but with a family like ours we have certain needs that NEED to be fulfilled...anything less will not do or else we can't function. It's just the way we roll *cough*

So what else is there to complain about? Ok, I don't mean to sound so ungrateful...we're living in friggin PARIS! So many of my friends say they're jealous and everyone's just like "Can I PLEASE trade spots with you?!" but I don't think they realize that it's different when you're transferring your whole life here rather than just visiting for vacation. But maybe I'm just less enthusiastic about traveling (don't get me wrong, it's AWESOME!).

Other than the fact that my little brother Andi will NOT talk and cooperate with me...I think everything else is fine. I mean, we have this apartment thing going on...but once we deal with that it'll all be gooood.

If all else fails...at least we know there are fresh baguettes and croissants right around every corner!

Now that's awesome.
